Recent history sidebar

  • Recent translation history now uses all available sidebar height instead of stopping after four items.
  • The sidebar shows every loaded recent entry and scrolls naturally when the list exceeds the window height.

Lemvia 1.1.6 build 9 keeps automatic typing drafts in one clean history entry.

Translation history

  • Automatic workspace translation now updates one history entry throughout the current input session.
  • Intermediate typing drafts no longer appear as separate recent-history records.
  • Clicking Translate after an automatic result continues the same history item instead of creating a duplicate.

History storage

  • History records can now be updated through a stable entry identifier while preserving normal behavior for unrelated translation flows.
  • A new input session receives a new history item, while further edits in that session replace its latest completed translation.
  • Opening an existing history item still restores its saved source and result without recording another entry.

Lemvia 1.1.5 build 8 fixes empty-result errors after changing the translation language.

Language switching

  • Changing the target language now starts one coordinated retranslation for the current source text.
  • Duplicate view updates no longer cancel the active request and turn a successful response into an empty-result error.
  • Superseded translations are treated as cancellations instead of translation-service failures.

Request scheduling

  • Pending automatic-translation debounce work is invalidated before a configuration retranslation begins.
  • An identical request already capturing or streaming is reused instead of being cancelled and restarted.
  • A genuinely cancelled request remains eligible for an immediate retry.

Long translation results

  • Made the result pane scroll independently so every line of a long translation remains reachable.

Customizable shortcuts

  • Added full customization for selected-text translation, screenshot translation, screenshot text recognition, and opening the translation window.
  • Added a native shortcut recorder with clear, Escape to cancel, and one-click restore-default actions.
  • Kept global registrations and menu-bar shortcut labels synchronized immediately after a change.

Conflict handling and migration

  • Blocks duplicate shortcuts assigned to more than one Lemvia action instead of silently replacing an existing assignment.
  • Detects common macOS menu shortcuts and combinations already registered by macOS or another app before saving.

Lemvia 1.1.2 build 5 restores native macOS window controls, adds a remembered close behavior, and ships a clearer branded installer.

Window behavior

  • Replaced decorative workspace traffic lights with fully functional native macOS close, minimize, and zoom controls.
  • Closing the main window can now keep Lemvia available from the menu bar or quit the app completely.
  • The close choice can be remembered, changed later in Settings, and paired with menu commands to close or reopen the translation window.

Purchase feedback and installation

  • Prevented an extra Plus-required result state from appearing when an upgrade action already opens Plans & Billing.
  • Added a branded drag-to-Applications disk image with clearer installation guidance and a verified, unclipped layout.
  • Kept the app available from the menu bar when the customer chooses to close only the main window.

Lemvia 1.1.1 build 4 fixes interrupted text input, strengthens automatic-translation request protection, and corrects Cloud Plus controls for Free users.

Typing and automatic translation

  • Fixed an issue where an automatic translation refresh could interrupt typing or swallow text while an input method was composing characters.
  • Automatic translation now waits for 800 milliseconds of idle input, keeps only the latest pending text, and spaces automatic dispatches by at least 1.5 seconds.
  • Manual translation remains immediate and cancels any older automatic request before it starts.

Plans and hosted translation

  • Free users can no longer switch the result panel to the unavailable advanced hosted route; selecting it now opens the upgrade flow with clear feedback.
  • The production translation service now applies separate request protection for Free and Cloud Plus traffic and returns retry guidance when a limit is reached.
  • The Cloudflare Worker quota, Dodo license, webhook, refund, dispute, and replay regression suites passed before deployment.

Secure online updates

  • Added Sparkle 2.9.2 with automatic update checks and user-confirmed installation.

  • Update archives are verified with Lemvia’s EdDSA public key before installation and are delivered from lemvia.app over HTTPS.
  • Build 1 did not contain the updater; anyone who downloaded it must install build 2 once from this page. Future releases can then update in app.

Purchase and activation

  • Connected the signed app to the Dodo Live checkout flow for Lifetime Pro and monthly or yearly Cloud Plus.
  • Verified a Cloud Plus subscription purchase and app-side license activation with a 100% discount test order.
  • Added purchase-return recovery so Lemvia resumes the pending license claim, refreshes the entitlement and cloud quota, closes Plans, and explains where to verify the license.

Prelaunch

Production website and payment infrastructure

Historical prelaunch checkpoint: production website and Dodo Live infrastructure were deployed before the signed Mac release. Lemvia 1.0 build 2 has since superseded the distribution blockers recorded here.

Website and discoverability

  • Deployed the official website at lemvia.app, with www.lemvia.app redirected to the canonical root domain.
  • Published product, workflow, pricing, download-status, support, privacy, and release-notes surfaces.
  • Added page-specific metadata, canonical URLs, structured data, sitemap, robots policy, llms.txt, and an RSS feed generated from these notes.

Payment readiness

  • Configured all four Dodo Live products, production API credentials, the Live API endpoint, and filtered webhook delivery on the production Worker.
  • Verified the production checkout API can create a hosted Dodo checkout without exposing product IDs, API keys, or license claims in the browser.
  • Implemented signed webhook verification, short-lived license claims, and payment return verification on the Worker.
  • Implemented idempotent character-credit grants and refund or lost-dispute rollback accounting.

  • At this checkpoint, the signed public download and update channel had not yet shipped.

Prelaunch

Localization and Plans remediation

The Plans, result status, history, and native visual-test paths were repaired during the latest app readiness pass.

App interface

  • Localized Plans and Billing, floating-panel status text, result helpers, and history limit or empty states for Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese with English fallback.
  • Kept provider errors and user content verbatim so they are not accidentally treated as localization keys.
  • Replaced the unsupported manual-input status symbol with a stable macOS cursor symbol.

Release QA

  • Repaired native fidelity scripts after the Lemvia rename and completed a no-signing macOS Debug build.
  • The Plans comparison remains below the approved visual gate, so native visual sign-off is still open.
